Joe

Joe, a lifelong boater, grew up frequenting weekends at his grandparent's property on Lake of the Ozarks. His early years spent on ski boats with vintage Merc outboards.

In 2009, Joe decided to buy a boat of his own... Why? To propose to his girlfriend. All he knew was that he wanted a brown boat. In conversation with a friend, he learned of a barn find, knowing nothing about it other than its color, brown. He spoke for it sight unseen... and well, it just so happened to be a 1984 Cobalt 19BR, two tone Root Beer Brown, later to be name "Phases and Stages".

On 4th of July, 2009, aboard that boat, Joe proposed to his now wife under the Kimberling City bridge on Table Rock Lake.

Fast forward to 2015. Joe took to the Cobalt owners Facebook page with concerns about a soft transom. It was then that he linked up with Andrew who had a contact for transom repair.

After successful repair, Joe heard of The Harbor's Annual Regatta on Table Rock Lake. Joe spread the word to all he knew within the Cobalt community. Joe extended a personal invite to Andrew and his wife to join along aboard Phases and Stages.

While at the regatta, the first thing they noticed? There were only a couple classics in attendance... it was then, the mission began.
